Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of summit.amsku.com and your participation in the AMSKU Annual Global Summit. By using the Site or registering for the Summit you agree to them.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
1. About these terms
summit.amsku.com (the "Site") is operated by the Advanced MSK Ultrasound Center ("AMSKU", "we", "us" or "our"), the organizer of the AMSKU Annual Global Summit (the "Summit"). These Terms of Use (the "Terms") apply to everyone who visits the Site, sends us an enquiry, or registers for or attends the Summit. If you do not agree with the Terms, please do not use the Site or register.
Our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy explain how we handle personal information and form part of these Terms.
2. The Site
The Site provides information about the Summit, its program, faculty and registration. We try to keep the information accurate and up to date, but the program, speakers, session times and ticket prices may change without notice. Nothing on the Site is a binding offer until a registration has been confirmed by our ticketing platform.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time.
3. Registration and tickets
Tickets are sold through RingCentral Events (the "Ticketing Platform"). When you buy a ticket you enter into a transaction that is also subject to the Ticketing Platform's own terms of service and privacy policy. Where those terms and these Terms conflict in relation to payment processing, the Ticketing Platform's terms prevail; in all other respects these Terms prevail.
- A ticket admits one named person to the live online Summit and, where included in the ticket, to the session recordings afterwards. Tickets are personal and may not be resold, shared or transferred without our written consent.
- Early bird and other promotional prices apply only for the period and quantity we specify and are not available retrospectively.
- Access links, passwords and recordings are for the registered attendee only. You must not share them or allow anyone else to use them.
- You are responsible for having a device, browser and internet connection suitable for attending an online event.
4. Cancellations, refunds and changes
Because the Summit is delivered online and includes on-demand access to recordings, tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased, except where the law in your country gives you a right to a refund that cannot be excluded. If you are unable to attend the live day, you will still have access to the recordings as described in your ticket.
We reserve the right to change the date, format, program or faculty of the Summit. If we cancel the Summit entirely and do not reschedule it, we will refund the ticket price paid. We are not responsible for any other costs you incur.
Refund requests and questions about your ticket should be sent to info@amskucenter.com.
5. Educational content and medical disclaimer
The Summit, the Site and any related recordings, modules and materials are provided for professional education and information only. They are not medical advice and do not create a clinician-patient relationship. Speakers express their own views and predictions, which may not reflect the views of AMSKU. Techniques, products and treatments discussed may not be approved or appropriate in every jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for exercising your own professional judgment, for complying with the laws, regulations and licensing requirements that apply to your practice, and for confirming whether any continuing education credit is recognized by your licensing body.
6. Recordings and intellectual property
All content on the Site and in the Summit, including text, graphics, logos, video, session recordings, slides and materials, is owned by AMSKU or its speakers and licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- You may view the Site and, if you hold a ticket, the Summit and its recordings for your own personal, professional and non-commercial use.
- You may not record, download, copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, broadcast or create derivative works from any session or material without our prior written permission.
- The AMSKU name and logos and the Summit name and logo are trademarks of AMSKU and may not be used without permission.
By participating in a live session, for example by asking a question in Q&A or appearing on camera, you agree that your participation may be recorded and included in the recordings made available to attendees and speakers.
7. Acceptable conduct
We want the Summit to be a respectful, professional environment. When using the Site or attending the Summit you must not:
- harass, threaten or discriminate against any attendee, speaker, sponsor or staff member;
- post or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringes another person's rights;
- advertise or solicit business in sessions or chat unless you are an approved sponsor or exhibitor;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, the event platform, other attendees' accounts or any related systems;
- use automated tools to scrape the Site or interfere with its operation.
We may remove anyone who breaches these rules from the Summit without refund and may restrict their access to the Site.
8. Enquiries and submissions
Anything you send us through the contact form or by email should be accurate and must not contain confidential patient information. We may use your enquiry to respond to you and to improve the Summit. Speaking and sponsorship proposals are considered at our discretion, and we are under no obligation to accept them.
9. Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party websites and services, including the Ticketing Platform, YouTube, our previous summit sites and sponsor websites. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their own terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and the Summit are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the Site or the Summit, including that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that the content will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Live online events depend on third-party platforms and internet connections that we do not control.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMSKU, its officers, staff, speakers and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or attendance at the Summit. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or the Summit is limited to the amount you paid us for your ticket, or, if you paid nothing, to one hundred US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify AMSKU against any claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or Summit content, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which AMSKU is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts there. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under the law of the country where you live.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy and the Ticketing Platform's terms for your purchase, are the entire agreement between you and AMSKU regarding the Site and the Summit.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Changes apply from the moment they are posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after that is acceptance of the updated Terms.
