Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information the Advanced MSK Ultrasound Center collects through summit.amsku.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
1. Who we are
summit.amsku.com (the "Site") is operated by the Advanced MSK Ultrasound Center ("AMSKU", "we", "us" or "our"), the organizer of the AMSKU Annual Global Summit (the "Summit"). AMSKU is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@amskucenter.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Site and the information we collect when you browse it, send us a message through the contact form, or otherwise contact us about the Summit. It does not cover third-party websites and services we link to, including our ticketing platform, which have their own privacy policies (see section 6).
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use the contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This typically includes your name, email address, organization or practice, and the content of your message. You may also give us information when you register as a speaker, sponsor or exhibitor, or when you correspond with the Summit team.
Information collected automatically
The Site is a static website. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers on it and we do not build profiles of visitors. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes standard server logs needed to deliver the Site and keep it secure, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting purposes.
Embedded third-party content on the Site, such as the contact form and web fonts, may also receive technical information from your browser when it loads. See our Cookies Policy for details.
4. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your questions and requests about the Summit, tickets, group rates, speaking and sponsorship;
- organize, deliver and follow up on the Summit, including sending practical information to registered attendees, speakers and sponsors;
- send you news about this and future AMSKU summits and education, where you have asked to receive it or where we are otherwise permitted to do so. You can opt out at any time;
- operate, secure and improve the Site;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and promoting the Summit and protecting the Site, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Registration and payments
Tickets for the Summit are sold through RingCentral Events, a third-party event platform. When you register, RingCentral collects your registration and payment details directly under its own privacy policy and terms. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. RingCentral shares attendee information with us (such as your name, email address and ticket type) so that we can run the event, contact you about it and provide access to the live sessions and recordings.
Recordings of past summits are made available through summit2025.amsku.com, which is operated by AMSKU and may have its own registration process.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Site and the Summit, including Vercel (hosting), Zoho (contact forms and customer relationship management), RingCentral Events (registration, ticketing and the virtual event platform) and Google (web fonts and YouTube). These providers process information on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies.
- Summit partners, such as sponsors or exhibitors, only where you have chosen to share your details with them, for example by visiting a virtual exhibition booth or requesting information from a sponsor.
- Authorities and advisers where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a reorganization, merger or sale of our business.
7. International transfers
AMSKU and its service providers operate globally, and the Summit welcomes attendees from many countries. Your information may therefore be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
8. How long we keep information
We keep contact-form enquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Attendee, speaker and sponsor records are kept for the life of the Summit and subsequent editions so that we can provide access to recordings, respond to follow-up questions and meet accounting and legal requirements. Marketing contact details are kept until you opt out.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@amskucenter.com. To stop receiving marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us at the same address.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site and access controls on the systems where enquiries and attendee records are stored. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Site and the Summit are intended for clinicians and other professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we make material changes, we will post the new policy on the Site and, where appropriate, notify registered attendees by email.
