Steve Derrington

Dr. Steve Derrington is a board-certified physiatrist who leads Derrington Orthopedics, with offices in Carlsbad and Laguna Hills, California. After earning his DO at Kansas City University and completing physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Thomas Jefferson University, he trained with Marko Bodor, MD, in Napa. His work centers on diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided procedures and orthobiologics, including PRP and cell-based therapies. He is an instructor for the Interventional Orthobiologics Foundation and spoke at AGS 2025 on moving beyond fluoroscopy.
